Road Closure - Old Road 14th - 24th April

Opal Group, on behalf of Gigaclear are intending on laying ducting in Old Road, Walgrave. To undertake this work safely they will require that the road is closed from the 14th to 24th April 2023.

Annual Parish Meeting Tuesday 25th April

It is a requirement of the 1972 Local Government Act that a Parish Meeting is held each year. It is not a Parish Council meeting but is facilitated by the Parish Council.

The Annual Parish Meeting is, quite literally, an assembly of the Parish and all those on the electoral roll for the Parish may attend.

Commemorative Tree for Queen Elizabeth II

Planting a commemorative tree for the late Queen will take place on Saturday 25th March at 11.00am.

The site in the Village Hall grounds has been cleared in readiness. The chosen tree is an English Oak Tree (Quercus Rodur), there will also be a bench around the tree and a commemorative plaque.

West Northants Council to move Daventry offices in money-saving move
